Can I get a ruling on this?

I was friends with a woman for a few years and we got to be very close friends. Everything is strictly platonic, we love each other like brother and sister and have no romantic feelings for each other. Recently, she met a guy and has been dating him. They see each other every day. I kind of got put on the back burner, which I understand. I am willing to do that for her if this guy she is dating makes her happy but, lately when we do communicate, and it's only by text and email now, she seems very distant. She says she still loves me and considers me her best friend but I don't feel it. The question is, is it OK for us to be friends even though she is dating or was I supposed to have gracefully bowed out of her life? Should I hang in there and see how things go with the the 2 of them and me or should I just move on and forget about my best friend?
