How to keep your horses coat healthy and shiny?

i brush my horses everyday with curry comb, mud brush, face brush, then go over with show sheen, for their manes and tails i put vetrolin detangler in which makes their hair look healthy and shiny once i comb all the tangles out i braid the tails to keep them from pulling and just comb the manes, this keeps them looking show ready. i bathe them twice a month with show sheen shampoo and whitening shampoo for my palomino which really makes him stand out. also when i feed i add 1/3 cup veg oil to all of their feed twice a day and it makes their coat shiny and healthy and helps with any dryness and any dandruff if there is any.
