What is your view on....?

First of all your friend needs to talk to someone who can help her feel strong enough to leave this man. He is a controlling abuser. This marriage is of no benefit to the children. If anything, this is going to set up the kids to follow into her footsteps in finding men/women who will treat them just as she was treated. There are times that making a marriage work isn't possible. She is going to be hitting her head against a brick wall if she stays with this man. She shouldn't feel like she failed. She needs to be strong for her children.
