How long can Salmon be in the fridge after thawing?

I have some salmon I bought at TJ's. I put it in the fridge on sunday night to thaw it, now it's thursday night. Can salmon be in the fridge for 4 days? It's very squishy but it smells fine. (And I've smelled bad salmon before.) Should I eat it?
